Abstract

Phase compositions of nanopowders prepared by electrical explosion of tungsten, titanium and aluminium wires in liquid hydrocarbons (С6Н6, С6Н14, С6Н5СН3, and С10Н22), multicomponent reactionary surroundings such as hexametilenetetramine-decane suspension, and solid paraffin were investigated. It has been established that the output of carbon-saturated carbide phases increases with increasing density and dynamic viscosity of the working medium as well as consumed energy, and depends on elemental composition of hydrocarbons (С/Н ratio in hydrocarbon molecules). The content of the carbide phases depends on the values of the upper warm-up border of chemical compounds stability..
