Abstract

Triglycine sulphate crystal (TGS) is one of the most studied ferroelectric materials, having a second order transition around 49 o C. The complex dielectric constant we have measured on the frequency range 1 Hz – 10 MHz and on a large temperature range, in para and in ferroelectric phase. Conductivity was estimated based on the Grant (J. Appl. Phys1958) model. Literature data, (Rajesh et al, Materials Letters 2002) shall be used to estimate conductivity activation energy of four TGS doped crystals. Experimental and calculated data shall be discussed..
