Abstract

This paper obtains exact 1-soliton solution to the nonlinear Schrödinger's equa5tion with spatio-temporal dispersion, in addition to usual group-velocity dispersion, by the aid of Kudryashov's method. There are four types of nonlinearity that are studied. These are Kerr law, power law, parabolic law and dual-power law. Bright, dark and singular soliton solutions are obtained..
