Abstract
Oxides with general formula Li2MM`3O8 (M = Mg, Zn; M`= Ti, Sn) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The dielectric properties of Li2ZnSn3O8 and Li2MgSn3O8 phases with an ordered double hexagonal type structure are reported for the first time, and compared with those of Li2ZnTi3O8 and Li2MgTi3O8 which have ordered spinel type structures..
