Abstract
The study presents the results of a research performed in order to establish the conditions that lead to the corrosion of a transport pipeline for C4 heavy fraction. The research includes analysis on the sample collected from the cracked pipeline. The following advanced methods and investigation techniques were used: ‐ Optical microscopy ‐ Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) ‐ X-ray diffraction ‐ X-ray fluorescence.
