Abstract

Bulk glasses of Ge-Te-Ga system have been prepared by melt-quenched technique. Basic physico-chemical characteristics like density, microhardness, compactness have been investigated. The average bond energy {E} has been calculated. The physico-chemical behaviours of the studied glasses have been discussed on the basis of the experimental derived parameters and theoretical calculated one..
