Abstract

Undoped and doped ZnO porous thin films are very interesting gas sensitive materials. The paper presents the properties of porous zinc oxide thin films deposed on soda-lime-glass substrate via dip-coating technique, using zinc acetate dihidrate, ethanol and monoethanol amine as raw materials. The effect of withdrawal speed on the crystalline structure, morphology, optical, electrical and gas sensing properties of the thin films has been investigated using XRD, AFM, optical transmittance and typical photoreduction-ozone reoxidation cycles..
