Abstract

Copper substituted Nickel-Zinc ferrite composition of Ni0.7-xZn0.3CuxFe2O4 prepared by conventional ceramic method. The single phase cubic structures of the samples were confirmed from X-ray diffraction patterns. The average Grain sizes of the sintered samples are also studied with doping concentrations. Electrical properties namely DC-resistivity as a function of temperature were studied for ferrite samples. Log of resistivity also studied as a function of 1/ T k-1. Conduction mechanism studied with Activation energy as a function of concentration on the basis of Verwey’s hopping mechanism..
