Abstract

Barium strontium titanate, BST was prepared from polymeric precursors through Pechini process (soft chemistry) which was carried out as a three–stage process from oganometallic complex. The main objective of this study is to find experimental conditions, so that the polymeric precursor method is applicable for the BST powder synthesis without any formation of carbonates. BST powder was obtained after calcinations at 800 °C for 8 h and characterized by XRD, IR, BET and SEM analysis..
